Precision and Craftsmanship

We build solid homes with genuine natural materials, a long lifespan, and meticulous attention to every detail. The houses are manufactured in our own factory, where every component is carefully designed – from the frame to the fixed interior fittings. This includes carefully selected wood species, thoughtful architecture, and craftsmanship that is evident in everyday life.

The result is a stable construction, durable surfaces, and a timeless aesthetic – even in a climate where houses are exposed to snow, wind, significant temperature differences, and an active lifestyle year-round.

Weatherproof and Secure in Our Own Factory

Our houses are built indoors in a dry and controlled environment. This reduces material waste, saves time, and ensures high precision. Experienced craftsmen work efficiently and meticulously in a safe working environment, where every step is followed up with great care.

The result is robust houses with a high-quality finish and well-crafted details – from the frame and insulation to fixed joinery and surface layers.

Complete Mountain Home – From Factory to Your Plot

We deliver turnkey homes directly to your property in the mountains, year-round and on schedule. The houses are manufactured as volumetric modules and delivered winterized and ready for occupancy with your chosen interior.

This means that the kitchen, bathroom, fixed interior fittings, and glass sections are already in place when the house arrives. You receive a complete home, meticulously finished in the factory and delivered to your plot with a shorter and more predictable process than traditional construction.

Stands Firm in All Weather

The construction is designed to withstand transport, lifting, and long-term use in a mountain environment. The houses are built with a robust frame, carefully dimensioned materials, and a construction that provides strength, stability, and a long lifespan.

Roofs, walls, and floors are insulated for year-round use in a mountain environment, and the windows are energy-efficient. The result is a tight, robust, and energy-smart house that performs equally well in winter as during the warmer seasons.

It’s a house you can rely on – year after year.

Beautiful and Reliable Materials

We select natural materials in substantial dimensions that can be maintained, renovated, and age with a beautiful patina. Dried, first-class timber is chosen from proven suppliers and used in frames, panels, floors, and fixed joinery.

Facades, joinery, and interior materials are built to withstand both everyday wear and tear and year-round use. Solid plank floors are treated with hard wax oil to provide a durable and pleasant surface that is easy to maintain. Solid door leaves and robust details provide weight, stability, and a long lifespan.

Fine Joinery and Solid Craftsmanship

All fixed interior fittings are custom-made in our own carpentry workshop – from kitchen joinery to bathroom furniture, wardrobes, and other storage. We use high-quality Nordic wood species with vibrant textures.

The precise fit ensures clean lines, without unnecessary cover panels or compromises in expression. Surfaces are treated with natural oils and pigments that protect and simplify maintenance.

The interior ages with the same dignity as the house as a whole – becoming part of the long-term quality that characterizes all Klara Fjällhus homes.

A Home to Live With for a Long Time

You will notice the quality and care in the stable doors, the finely sawn wood panels, and the drawers that glide smoothly into place. Solid wood floors and joinery only become more beautiful with use.

We build houses that are meant to be used, cared for, and loved – with timeless design, thoughtful function, and materials that last over time. That is how sustainability feels in everyday life.

Built for the mountains – with respect for nature

Architecture that belongs in the mountains

Our houses feature beautiful proportions, simple forms, and harmonious materials that allow them to blend into their surroundings. The architecture is thoughtfully designed and inspired by Nordic building traditions and the mountain landscape – crafted to endure for many generations.

Large glass sections provide direct contact with nature, allowing light and views to become part of everyday life. At the same time, well-balanced roof forms, robust materials, and clear details create houses that perform in a climate where snow, wind, and significant temperature differences pose specific demands.

In our mountain houses, you can leave everyday life behind, slow down, and live close to nature – with all amenities in place from the start.

Your Journey to a New Home

Building a house in the mountains can require just as much time and cause as many concerns as constructing a permanent residence. Klara Fjällhus simplifies the process. Our clear process means you can sit back and let us do the work. Your personal project manager will guide you through the entire process.

Here’s our simple step-by-step process

Climate Shell, Turnkey, or Total Responsibility?

Choose from four convenient ways to engage our services. Climate Shell suits those who wish to build the house’s interior themselves. A Turnkey house is an economical way to get a finished home. With Total Responsibility, you don’t have to do anything yourself. And with Total Responsibility Fixed Price, your developer costs, groundwork, and connections for electricity and water/sewer are included in the price.

Read about our collaboration models and choose the one that best suits you. Whichever you choose, you’ll benefit from a clear process and transparent costs.

Fixed and Transparent Prices

Our base price for a turnkey house includes a completely finished house and a personal project manager until you move in. The house price is fixed, transparent, and no hidden costs are added. Trailer transport throughout Sweden is included in the price, as is the crane that lifts the house to your plot. If you choose Total Responsibility, we also handle groundwork, foundation, and connections. If you prefer to be responsible for the interior yourself, the Climate Shell option is available.

Secure Agreements

Once you have signed an agreement with us, we will survey the route to your plot and ensure that crane lifting is feasible. Thereafter, the process for building permits, construction notifications, and any other applications will commence. Should transport prove impossible or the house not be permitted for construction, your house purchase will, of course, be cancelled.

Flexible Payment Plan

You pay for your house in four stages, in line with the manufacturing costs incurred. This results in the lowest cost for you. If you feel more secure or your bank prefers, you can also choose to pay 90% of the amount after delivery.

Our Responsibility

Every work step in your house is inspected at the factory to ensure the highest quality finish. Once the house is complete, it is inspected by an independent surveyor. If you choose a Turnkey house, we are responsible for manufacturing defects for three years. With Total Responsibility, our liability extends for ten years and also covers groundwork, foundation, and connections carried out by local contractors.
